CSS is a programming language used to style websites and web programs. It is used along with HTML. When using the highly recommend AIDE Web app to make a website a .css file will automatically be generated along with a .html file so you can edit the style. CSS is interpreted by a web browser.

Syntax Edit

The program below is used to make the background of the website blue.

 body {
 padding-top: 50px;
 background-color: Blue;
 .starter-template {
 padding: 40px 15px;
 text-align: center;

Almost any color can be put in the arguments area. Each block of code is started with the name of the block and a curly brace and ended with another curly brace. Every keyword is ended with a semi-colin.
